How do I call in sick?
If you unexpectedly become ill, it is important that you inform both your client (before the start of the work) and FlexToday (between 08:30 and 09:00). We would therefore like to know before 15:00 PM on the day you are ill whether you will be returning to work the next day. This way we can also inform the customer and they know where they stand.
If you get sick at work, that's no problem. Please report this to your direct manager and inform us: FlexToday, also informed. It is important to inform us because if you are still ill a day later and you only inform us then, this will be considered your first day of illness, including your waiting day.
Please note that you must report illness by telephone. You can go directly to FlexToday call +31(0)24 645 07 40.
Recovery
We think your recovery is important. Together with you, we will draw up an action plan to ensure that you can quickly resume your work. If necessary, we will work with the client to determine whether there are suitable activities that you can perform until you have fully recovered for your own work.
As soon as you are better, report this immediately to your contact person FlexToday and with your client.
Continued payment of wages in the event of illness
If you become ill, the first day of illness is at your own expense. We call that a waiting day. Then FlexToday pays 90% of your salary over the average hours worked over the past 13 weeks. We use one waiting day because of the collective labor agreement that we follow. The number of waiting days can vary per agency, this can vary between 1 or 2 waiting days.
Which collective labor agreement do I fall under?
The Collective Labor Agreement for Temporary Agency Workers (ABU Collective Labor Agreement) applies to your employment contract with FlexToday. This includes all your rights and obligations, including holiday and leave arrangements.
What kind of contract do I get?
At FlexToday a phase system is used that determines what rights you have, such as continued payment when you are unable to work. The longer you work with us, the more rights you accrue.
This system consists of three phases: phase A, phase B and phase C. Each phase represents a certain number of months that you go through FlexToday works and corresponds to specific rights.
It is also possible that you come directly to the customer, this is done through recruitment and selection (W&S). This means you do not have to go through different phases of contracts and you have more stability. So it's useful to know that we, at FlexToday, offer this possibility.
Different phase contracts
The phase system is a system in which the temporary worker receives more rights and better (dismissal) protection the longer he works as a temporary worker. This system is laid down in the Collective Labor Agreement for Temporary Agency Workers and consists of three phases.
Pension accrual
Although retirement may seem far away, you are building it up! We, FlexToday are obliged to pay pension contributions when:
You only pay a small part of the premium yourself; FlexToday pays the rest. Moreover, you do not have to arrange anything for your pension, we will do that for you. Once a year you will receive a pension overview showing your accrued rights. Read more in the Collective Labor Agreement for temporary workers.
At FlexToday build up your pension from day 1. We use the StiPP Plus scheme. In this scheme, a higher pension premium is paid and you accrue more pension than in the Basic Scheme. The pension premium in the Plus Plan is divided between you as an employee and FlexToday. Would you like to know more about the StiPP Plus scheme? Then take . a look!
