Forklift driver Beneden-Leeuwen

We are looking for an experienced forklift driver who will play a crucial role in our logistics process. As part of our team, you ensure efficient loading and unloading of trucks and move kegs in the keg department, using our advanced scanning system. With your attention to safety and efficiency, you contribute to a streamlined workflow and a safe working environment for everyone.

About this position

As a forklift driver you play a crucial role in the logistics process by making loading and unloading trucks efficient and safe. In addition to working at the loading and unloading sites, you are also active in the keg department, where you move kegs and drive them away on the keg line. You use the WMS scanning system to accurately monitor and register the processes. You are adept at maneuvering the forklift, even in a refrigerated fresh environment, ensuring that goods are placed in the correct locations and that the workflow continues to run smoothly.

In addition to operating the forklift and moving goods, as a forklift driver you are also responsible for complying with safety regulations and guidelines in the working environment. You are alert to possible risks and ensure that you always work according to the applicable procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and damage. By paying attention to safety and efficiency, you contribute to a pleasant and safe working environment for both yourself and your colleagues.

Working as a forklift driver not only requires skill in driving the forklift, but also good organizational and communication skills. You often work in a team and communicate with colleagues to coordinate the work process and resolve any bottlenecks. Through effective communication and collaboration you ensure that the logistics operation continues to run smoothly and that deadlines are met.

Your tasks include:

• Efficient and safe loading and unloading of trucks, and moving barrels in the barrel department using a forklift.
• Use the WMS scanning system to accurately track and record processes, even in refrigerated freezer environments.
• Complying with safety regulations and guidelines, proactively identifying risks and working according to applicable procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

What do we expect from you as a forklift driver?

We expect you to:

• Have gained experience operating a forklift or are in possession of a valid forklift certificate; 
• Have completed at least an MBO course at level 2 or 3 in the field of logistics;
• Can work independently without problems and get along well with colleagues.
