Industry service technician

We are looking for an experienced service technician who installs and maintains electrical and control systems for various customers. You resolve malfunctions, commission installations and advise customers on maintenance. With your technical expertise and communication skills you ensure efficient and reliable systems.

About this position

As a service technician you work with electrical and control installations for both new and existing customers. Together with the main foreman and work planners, you ensure that all installations are installed and maintained correctly. Due to the different industrial market segments in which you work, your work is varied and challenging. You are responsible for resolving malfunctions, commissioning installations, and accurately recording drawings and revision data.

An important part of your job is advising customers on how they can reduce disruptions. This means that you not only perform technical work, but also play a crucial role in communicating with customers. You discuss installation technical matters and ensure that customers are well informed about the status and maintenance of their installations. Through your expertise you help customers to make their systems more efficient and reliable.

You are also an important link in optimizing the installations. You work proactively to improve the operation and sustainability of the systems by implementing preventive maintenance and updates. You do all of this in close collaboration with your team and customers, always striving for the highest quality and customer satisfaction.

Your tasks include:

• Troubleshooting and commissioning electrical and control installations for both new and existing customers, whereby you ensure correct installation and maintenance in collaboration with the main contractor and work planners.
• Accurately recording drawings and revision data to ensure installations are up to date and properly documented.
• Advising customers on reducing disruptions, and discussing technical installation matters to keep them properly informed about the status and maintenance of their installations.
• Proactively optimize installations by implementing preventive maintenance and updates, while striving for the highest quality and customer satisfaction in close collaboration with your team and customers.

• An attractive gross monthly salary between € 2.700 and € 3.700, depending on your knowledge and experience.

What do we expect from you as a service technician?

We expect you to:

• Have an affinity with technology and are open to learning new things.
• Have knowledge of technical subjects such as NEN 1010 and NEN 3140.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Have gained experience in the technical sector or have completed appropriate training.
