Employee Technical Service Nijmegen

For our client in the region Nijmegen we are looking for an all-round Technical Service Employee or experienced troubleshooting engineer, maintenance engineer. Are you looking for a new challenge in a dynamic environment? Then respond quickly!

The function

As a Technical Service Employee or troubleshooting technician, maintenance technician, you are responsible for resolving malfunctions and preventive maintenance of the machine park or parts thereof to keep the machines in optimal condition in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and measurement and control technology.

Initial maintenance of rolling stock is included. In addition, you share your knowledge with the production employees, so that they can eventually solve or prevent some of the malfunctions themselves.

The most common duties of the technical service employee or breakdown technician are:

Optimizing and maintaining the entire electrical production equipment in the field

in such a way that optimal availability is achieved. This implies:

• To fix an issue;
• Changing, setting and adjusting machines;
• Overhauling and replacing machine parts;
• Preparing for maintenance and renewals to be carried out;
• Periodically checking specific machine parts;
• Locating faults, i.e. the causes of faults, and resolving them;
• Carrying out (emergency) repairs;
• Adjusting electrical circuits and PLC programs and communicating changes to production and technology.

What do we expect from you?

• MTS in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering;
• At least 3 to 5 years of work experience as a technical service employee or as a breakdown technician in an industrial environment;
• Possibly a course in hydraulics/pneumatics;
• You are available 40 hours a week;
• Experience with PLC Technology is an advantage;
• Certificate NEN 1010 and 3140 is an advantage.
