About this feature

As a Shipping Employee you are active in our dynamic shipping department Wijchen, in which you play a central role. You are the key responsible for all activities within the expedition. Equipped with a handheld scanner and pallet truck, you collect and prepare orders for shipment. You ensure that fresh products are placed accurately and efficiently on the correct pallets, tailored to the specific needs of each customer.

In addition, you are challenged every day to get the best out of yourself and you work closely with the Expedition Foreman, quality controllers, inspectors and your colleagues within the expedition department. All this takes place in a modern and innovative working environment within our family business Wijchen. Understanding various products, customers and their specific requirements is critical to this role, where accuracy and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Your tasks include:

• Loading trucks and ensuring that this runs smoothly;
• Check orders before they are shipped;
• Collecting orders and preparing them for transport using a handheld scanner and a pallet truck;
• If the inspector and the Expedition Foreman are not present, check and sign receipts for the incoming and outgoing products.

As a shipping employee we offer you:

• An attractive salary between € 2.079 and € 2.339 gross per month, depending on experience;

What do we expect from you as a forwarding employee?

We expect you to:

• That you have experience with an electric pallet truck and are in possession of a valid forklift certificate;
• You have completed at least an MBO education in a relevant field of study or you have gained practical experience;
• Preferably you have gained experience with a handheld scanner; if not, no problem, we will teach you this internally;
• You are flexible with regard to (early) working hours.
