Reach truck driver in Waalhaven Rotterdam

For a major customer of ours in the Waalhaven Rotterdam we are looking for hardworking reach truck drivers.

About this feature

As a reach truck driver at this large international company Rotterdam no day will be the same. You will be an important part of the process on the reach truck. You ensure that when the products are removed from the trucks, they are taken to the correct cold store. These products will range from food products to pharmaceutical products. You will therefore be working in a cold environment and you will be provided with the necessary work clothing.

You will also work on a Linde reach truck that is equipped with a radio so you are never bored! Furthermore, this is a reach truck with two pedals and a closed cabin that can reach a height of up to 12 meters. There is also a built-in heater to keep you nice and warm, and a camera to keep an eye on everything. Once you have taken all the products to the correct cold rooms, you can help your colleagues on the forklift or electric pallet truck. This way everyone helps each other and there is a good atmosphere.

Your tasks include:

• Unloading trucks and transporting products to the correct cold stores;
• Preparing orders for shipment;
• Operating forklifts, reach trucks and electric pallet trucks if necessary.

Working hours 2 shifts:

You work in a two-shift system with the following working hours:

From Monday to Friday you work from 06:00 AM to 14:30 PM. In the following week your working hours are from 14:30 PM to 23:00 AM.

What do we expect from you as a reach truck driver?

We expect you to:

• Have experience on a reach truck and a valid reach truck certificate;
• You can operate a forklift or an electric pallet truck without any problems, preferably you have a certificate for this;
• Have no trouble working in a cold environment.
