Process operator in Oostrum

For a major player Oostrum we are looking for process operators who like variety, are open to growth and are willing to work in a 5-shift system.

About this feature

In the role of operator, you are the center of the production process, where you have control over the machines and respond proactively to any deviations. You are responsible for maintaining product quality and closely monitoring and managing the supporting processes, such as energy consumption and residuals management. Troubleshooting and independently carrying out maintenance are also part of your duties.

But as an operator in Oostrum you do more than that. In addition to your regular work, you are actively involved in submitting optimization proposals for the production process and you participate in improvement teams. In short, you are a crucial link in the pursuit of smooth, efficient automated processes, from the receipt of raw materials to the moment the finished products leave the production location.

Your tasks include:

• Monitoring and managing supporting processes, including energy consumption and waste processing;
• Respond proactively and take immediate action when deviations occur in the process;
• Monitoring the quality of the product, if you see something that deviates, you take action;
• Independently resolve malfunctions and carry out maintenance.

• An attractive gross monthly salary between € 2.644 and € 3.093, depending on your knowledge and experience;
• Work in a 5-shift system with a shift allowance of 31%;

• Have gained experience in practice or have successfully completed a relevant field of study;
